WASHINGTON, United States — US President Donald Trump introduced that Iran and Israel had agreed to a staggered ceasefire starting Tuesday that will result in an ‘official finish’ to the battle.

“It has been totally agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will probably be a Full and Complete CEASEFIRE,” Trump wrote Monday night on his Reality Social platform.

There was no speedy remark from Israel or Iran confirming the settlement.

As outlined by Trump, the ceasefire can be a phased 24-hour course of starting at round 0400 GMT Tuesday, with Iran unilaterally halting all operations. Israel would comply with go well with 12 hours later.

“Upon the twenty fourth hour, an official finish to the 12-day battle will probably be saluted by the world,” he stated, including that either side had agreed to stay “peaceable and respectful” throughout every part of the method.

Trump’s announcement got here simply hours after Iran launched strikes towards an American army base in Qatar, which he described as “weak” retaliation for US strikes over the weekend towards Iranian nuclear websites.

Iran and Israel have exchanged wave after wave of air strikes since Israel unleashed a serious army offensive on June 13.
